Frederik wins last race of Farr40 Champs, Mary brings kids to watch

On Saturday September 1st, Crown Prince Frederik and his team aboard the Nanoq won the final race of the Farr40 World Championships. Crown Princess Mary was there to cheer on her husband, and brough Prince Christian, 23 months, and Princess Isabella, 4 months; along to cheer for Daddy.

Christian's First Flirt!

Se og Hør reports this week on Prince Christian's first flirt! Apparently this occured during the christening of Dagmar Louise Foss, the daughter of one of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's friends, on August 18th. Princess Isabella also attended with her parents.Copyright: Se og Hør

Graasten Palace Photo Session

The annual photo session at Graasten Palace took place yesterday, with various family members turning up for the event. Those that took part included Queen Margrethe II, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Princess Benedikte, Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and girlfriend Carina Axelsson, Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and her two children, Count Richard and Countess Ingrid von Pfeil and Klein-Ellguth.The family also watched the changing of the guards, and little Christian decided to march along with them! Another highlight was Christian's first-ever public tantrum (yes, it's true!).

Danish Royals at Legoland

Various members of the Danish Royal Family are today having fun at Legoland, while they enjoy their summer vacation at Graasten Palace. Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and Prince Christian were there - while Princess Isabella slept not to far away in her pram closely watched by a nanny; and from photos, we can gather that Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, the daughter of Princess Benedikte and Prince Richard, joined them with her two children, Count Richard and Countess Ingrid von Pfeil and Klein-Ellguth.And the photo session at Graasten Palace has been moved forward, from August 4th to August 3rd, which is tomorrow!

Frederik & Mary outdoors at Graasten Palace

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary went horse and bike riding at Graasten Palace on August 1st. First they went for horseriding around the Palace grounds, followed by a nice cycle to cool down.












Billed Bladet also reports that Prince Christian, the couple's 21-month-old son, has been gradually introduced to horses and Frederik and Mary took him to the stables at Graasten to show him some horses.

Frederik, Mary & kids leave Croatia

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary have finished their holidays in Croatia and have headed home to Denmark with their two children, Prince Christian (21 months) and Princess Isabella (3 months).

New Picture of Danish Royal Children

On the occassion of Prince Felix's 5th birthday yesterday, Kongehuset.dk released a "new" picture of the birthday boy with his older brother, Prince Nikolai, and his two cousins, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella. Official Christening Portraits of Isabella

Kongehuset.dk has just released the official christening portraits of Princess Isabella. The set of five images includes a shot of Frederik, Mary, Christian and Isabella with both sets of grandparents (Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, John Donaldson and Susan Moody) and a shot with all six godparents. Lilleprinsesse Christening Update

Lilleprinsesse will be christened on July 1st, two Saturdays from now, at the Fredensborg Palace Church. The christening is expected to be smaller than that of her older brother Christian's, which was held in Copenhagen.

Two guests have already been confirmed for the event (apart from the Danish Royal Family of course!), TRH the Crown Prince and Princess of Norway. Haakon and Mette-Marit are good friends of Frederik and Mary's, and both are godparents to Prince Christian.

Added: royalcourt.se has also confirmed that HRH Crown Princess Victoria will be attending the christening. Victoria is another of Christian's godparents.

Danish Royals at Christening of Josephine Fleming

Various members of the Danish Royal Family were in attendance on Saturday June 16th at the christening of Josephine Margaretha Victoria Fleming, the daughter of Rory David & Caroline Fleming. Those in attendance were Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Christian, Prince Joachim with Marie Cavallier, Prince Gustav with Carina Axelsson, Countess Alexandra and Martin Jørgensen. Crown Princess Mary was the baby's godmother.

Margrethe & Henrik with their Grandchildren
